On August 4, 1942 she was married to Henry Frohling and they made their home in Emmetsburg, Iowa. Her husband farmed and also sold insurance for Farm Bureau. Henry died in 1962, and later, on December 23, 1962, Florence was married to Ben Bendle in Hooper, Nebraska and she has resided in Hooper since that time.
Her husband Ben, died in 1987.
Florence was a member of the Evangelical Free Church in Fremont. She was interested in quilting and genealogy, and also spent a lot of time on the computer corresponding with family in Norway. She also assisted other people with their genealogy projects.

Florence was preceded in death by her 2 husbands Henry Frohling and Ben Bendle, her parents, a sister Lois Jean, 8 brothers Russell, Clarence 'Bud', Orrin, Harold, Leslie, her twin brother Floyd, Dick, and Donald.
The funeral service will be 2 PM Saturday (Febr. 23rd) in the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont with the Rev. Jim Brooks of the Evangelical Free Church officiating. Visitation at the mortuary will be today (Friday, Febr. 22nd)from 2 to 8 PM, with the closed casket. The family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM. A second service will be 11 AM Monday (Febr. 25th) in Emmetsburg, Iowa in the Bethany Lutheran Church with Rev. Steve Ellerbusch officiating. The committal will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Emmetsburg.
