Hartford, Sd Sunday, March 22, 2009 Milo, Joyce, Donna & Family- I am so sorry for your loss. I loved Uncle Elvin dearly and will miss him much. Take comfort in knowing that he is once again united with your Mother and playing the fiddle and guitar.Mary Kathleen Brown
Mapleton, IA Sunday, March 22, 2009 I loved Uncle Elvin with all my heart, We had some good talks on the phone over the years especially since my Dad (Bill Campbell , his brother) passed away. He loved to show me his brag books that Aunt Dorthy had put together over the years and talk about situations that he and Dad got into when they were younger. He was so proud that he could still take care of himself at age 81, I remember calling him the day before this birthday early in the morning and he was so excited because Sharon was going to fix him his birthday dinner. When he was 83 he was proud of the fact that he was still alive. Now he is rejoined in heaven with those family members whose memories he kept so close to heart. Now its up to the remaining CAMPBELL'S to keep the memories close to OUR hearts.
