Elvin was born June 25, 1924 in Elmo Missouri to Clyde and Esther 'Allen' Campbell. He lived in several towns growing up. Elvin's adult years were spent doing over the road truck driving for Trans Con. Elvin and the former Dorothy Perry were married on July 5, 1945 in Sidney, Iowa. The family lived in several different communities until moving to Hooper in 1975. Elvin was an old time fiddle player and expert guitarist.

Donna and husband Dan Jarvis of Houston, Texas
Son - Milo Campbell of Kennard

12 great grandchildren
2 great great grandchildren

nieces and nephews.

Elvin was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy in August of 2001, a daughter Sharon Royer in May of 2007, a son-in-law, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday March 18 at the Hooper Cemetery in Hooper, Nebraska. The Rev. Joel Schroeder will officiate. Memorials are suggested to the Hooper Volunteer Fire Department. Visitation will be at Ludvigsen's Hooper Funeral Chapel on Tuesday March 17 from 3pm to 8pm with family receiving friends from 6pm to 8pm.
