Jim, Christy, Jack and Families: "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal." I know there are no words I can say that will heal the pain you are all feeling for your loss. Lynn was a beautiful person and a woman of much strength. I remember last seeing her at Learning Express getting gifts for the boys. She was a very proud grandma and I'm sure she will be watching over them from heaven. May all the wonderful memories you have of her stay with you forever and help you with your grief. I'm thinking of all of you. Blessings, Drea & Family

I'm so sorry for your loss Jim. I have fond memories of you & Lynn when I was the bothersome little sister of Sandy, hanging around, watching all the fun you all were having. I always admired Lynn, just because she was Lynn, pretty, funny, a warm smile. She took time for kids and made me feel important, She was truly a bright spot in this world.

  10. Lisa Beck
Jim, Jack, Christy and family. How I remember growing up on Sherwood Cove and Lynn in her office, scolding Christy and I for being silly adolescents, all the while smiling her radiant smile of amusement and letting us get away with things we probably shouldn't have! She always had something good cooking in the crockpot or on the stove and you always knew she had your back. I felt like a second daughter. It's a new chapter now for all of you, and I wish you ease in your transition. Christy, I love ya and I'm here for you whenever you need me. My deepest sympathies, Lisa.

Lynn was such a positive, fun loving person. It was always a treat to have Lynn & Lela come to the Griffith farm to visit. They would entertain us with head stands, laughter or a drive in the country. We will cherish those times and her memory. Louese "Bid" Griffith's Family Chuck, Pam, Jim, Jere & Frank Bell
  18. Pam (Griffith) Kuper
I have such fond memories of Lynn and Lela. Being the oldest, I remember when their mom came to see my mom, Bid, about her health. I recall one Saturday when Mom took me with her when we went up to their farm. We sat on the back steps at Aunt Mable's house so Lynn to dry her hair in the sun for her date that night! She was always so happy and laughter filled the room whenever she was there. We would look for her at the football games and at the drive-in. If we were lucky, she would be our 'car hop'. She was always kind to Frank Bell when he came to live with us. She was a wonderful person and a great cousin. She will be missed! Our prayers are with your family. She will always be with you in your hearts. Love, Pam Kuper (Griffith)

GOD be with you All Betty Lou

Jim, Christy and Jack, Lynn was such a great lady. So kind to the whole Ridder clan. I still dont know how she handled me, Brian & Jack running around the neighborhood with fireworks, melting model cars with smoke bombs. We are better people for knowing her. Our thoughts and are with you and your family at this time.
  23. Bob Laura & Tama Porter
Jim our thoughts and prayers go out to you in this time of grief for you and your family. I know it is hard to lose a loved one especially when she was so full of life and made a fried of everyone she met. She can be taken from the earth but never will the memories of her leave your heart. When we first met you and Lynn you both made us feel as if we were part of your family. Remember that in the Bible it says that He will not put any more on your shoulders than you can bear. He is with you at all times through your life. He is with you now and has brought Lynn into his every lasting glory. He will help you through this and the times to come. With Gods Love and ours Bob, Laura & Tama Porter

  25. Teresa (Lehr) Christensen
Jim, Christy, and Jack I am so sorry to hear about Lynn. She was a wonderful lady. Lynn was like a second mother to me, she taught me many life lessons that I still believe in to this day. I remember showing up on her doorstep at age 15 and working by her side until I graduated from college at age 24. Lynn and I spent many hot days in the firework stands with her talking and me soaking it all up. She taught me that hard work always paid off and to never give up. She often pushed me to work harder and try to achieve more. I owe Lynn a lot and she has always had a special place in my heart and always will. I am sorry that I didnt make the funeral, I was out of town at a volleyball convention and could not make it back in time. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time and I just wanted you to know how special Lynn was to me. Teresa Christensen
