My memories of Aunt Marge begin as a youngster when we lived in Central City. We'd stop in Fremont on our way to Omaha to visit Uncle Bob and Aunt Marge and kids. It would usually take a while for me to warm up and start to play with Lorna and Norma, then I wouldn't want to leave when it was time to go. Cousins Billy and Bobby were always kind and fun to be around. Aunt Marge would have special treats for us. I would listen to my mom, Lillian and her sister visit. The Wymans are a close family. My Mom's siblings have always been very special to her. She loved her sister, Marge. We all loved to be around her. She made us laugh. Ever since my husband and kids and I stopped to see Marge in her apartment in Fremont(and cousin Bill and Vicki stopped by---the last time I ever saw him), she would always bring that visit up whenever I saw her. She would say, remember how rainy it was that day and how the kids played with her stuffed animals. We had moved to Michigan, so didn't get around very often. My latest memory was the last two Wyman reunions, sitting with Aunt Marge and Aunt Katherine, chatting and laughing with them. Aunt Marge would make light of her health troubles. She would speak of Norma and Lee and how wonderful they had been to her and how she wouldn't have been around at those reunions except that Norma and Lee had gotten her in to get medical attention when it was an emergency. God bless you, Norma, Lee and Butch and Linda for all you did for her. She was a special lady and will always be remembered by all of us in the Wyman clan. She will be missed. Lovingly,

DEAR NORMA AND FAMILY, I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR OF YOUR MOMS PASSING. I ALWAYS ENJOYED TALKING TO HER. REMEMBER HOW SHE USE TO TEASE ME ABOUT BEING THE "PERFECT CHILD" THAT COULD DO NOTHING WRONG. ACCORDING TO MY DAD ANYWAY. YOU ARE IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. TAKE CARE.

I was honored to be Aunt Marge's name sake. Although I don't have a lot of memories of her while I was growing up, I know she was a thoughtful generous person. Just lately we were going through some old photos as a family and I commented on the carousel that I had recieved as a gift while very young in one of the pictures. Mother wanted us to know that in those early years before Aunt Marge had children of her own, she bought gifts for us because she knew that my Dad's pastor's salary did not allow much room for Christmas gifts. I will always be grateful for that. My cousin Bill Fisher was born on my birthday and I certainly was saddened by his untimely death. They will both be remembered by our entire family.

Aunt Marge was straight-forward and out-spoken. I loved it that she said what she thought! I loved her hearty laugh! She put permanents in my hair when I was little.--I can still see her holding those permanent curlers in her mouth while she talked and told me to hold still. Goodbye, dear Aunt Marge. We love you!
