Marjorie was born October 1, 1922 in Loretto, Nebraska to Thomas and Edith (Prewitt) Wyman. She was raised in Bartlett, Nebraska, graduating from the Wheeler County High School. She taught one year of school near Burwell, Nebraska before moving to California in May of 1941.

In California, she met and then married Willard (Bill) Fisher on Sept. 29, 1941. They divorced in 1954. Then on April 13, 1956, she married Robert (Bob) Fisher in Maxwell, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on August 1, 1973.

Marjorie lived in Omaha from 1945 to 1962, then moved to Fremont where she lived from 1962 to 2007. She moved to Lincoln in February of 2007, and then to Omaha in June of 2008. She had worked as a pharmacy tech in Omaha, and had been a bartender in Fremont for Woody's/Doe's from 1969 to 1982. She had also been employed by the Fremont Tribune for 6 years as a route driver.

She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Fremont. She had also been a member of the Fremont Eagles Aerie 200 Auxiliary, and of TOPS No. 58.

Marjorie was preceded in death in addition to her husband Robert, by a son Willard (Bill) Fisher in 1996, and a brother George Wyman in 2006.

The funeral service will be 10:30 AM Thursday (Oct. 29th) at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont with the Rev. Dan Swanson of Calvary United Methodist Church officiating. The committal will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Methodist Hospice of Omaha.

Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary will be on Wednesday (Oct. 28th) from 2 to 8 PM, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM. Visitation continues on Thursday for an hour before the funeral.
