There are so many different ways to look at a Grandmother. Loving, caring, compassionate, sweet, forgiving, genuine, wise, and most of all, always there when you needed her. Grandma Shirley was definitely a whole lot more. Not only did she love each and everyone of her children, grand children and great grand children, she filled in as a Grandmother to others. This woman had an impact on many peoples lives, and I am sure they are better for it. We were all fortunate to have her in our lives and know she will always be watching over us.

Shirley always commented how much she liked my fern leaf peonies in the spring. I will think of her every time they bloom from now on. I've missed seeing her caring for her on plants on her deck, this past year, and chatting in the back yard. My sympathies to her husband and all the family. Leslie
