Dolores E. Johnson Watson, age 88, of Fremont
Died Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Nye Pointe in Fremont

Dolores was born July 11, 1936 in the Oakland Hospital in Oakland, Nebraska to Elmer and Freda 'Koehler' Johnson. Dolores was the oldest of two children, both she and her brother attended country school District 48. The family moved to Fremont in 1950 and she graduated in 1954 from Fremont Senior High. She worked part time of her senior year at Alberta's Beauty Salon. After graduation she went to Edams School of Hair Dressing, after graduating she returned to Fremont to Alberta's Beauty Salon, where she managed one of the two beauty shops. She later worked at Styles Unlimited. Dolores was a beautician for fifty years.

Dolores met Paul Watson in 1954 and married the love of her life on March 3, 1957 at Sinai Lutheran Church. She did ceramics and enjoyed the grandkids and working at church.

Survivors:
Husband - Paul
Daughter - Dorene (Bryan) Kaspar of Fremont
Grandson - Dustin (Amy) Kaspar and their son Owen of Malmo
Dallas (Abby) Kaspar and their daughters Azlyn and Hollyn of Surprise, AZ.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Dorita Janky, brother Don Johnson, sisters-in-law Marjorie Bradbury and LaVerne Perkins, brothers-in-law LeRoy and Raymond Watson, and special friend Shirley Lundstrom.

The funeral will be 10am, Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Sinai Lutheran Church, burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3pm to 8pm with the family present from 6pm to 8pm at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont. Memorials are suggested to the church.
