Dean was born to John F. and Wilhelmine Raabe on the family farm on May 7, 1934.
Dean is survived by his wife, Barbara; children Deborah (Wesley) Walling, Rebecca (Paul) Bauer and Angela (Kevin) Meader;

Malmo, NE Saturday, May 18, 2024 Dean was a good man with a kind heart.It was a pleasure to know him and work with him. It was always a good day when Dean was at the counter with a can of coke and a smile on his face. I have thought about him many times over the years and considered him my friend. I'm very saddened to hear he has passed. Barb, I will keep you and your family in my thoughts. May you find peace.
