Died Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Nye Courte in Fremont.
Clarence was born on May 18, 1930 at home on the farm near Ames, Nebraska to Victor and Clara 'Eggers' Kluge. He attended District #2 School in Ames before moving with his family to a farm near Scribner. He attended District 12 school and graduated from Scribner High School in 1948. He continued to work on the farm until 1951 when he entered the United States Army. He served in Germany. In 1952 he returned to the farm near Scribner. On September 25, 1955 he married Marcella M. 'Sally' Wegner at Trinity Lutheran Church west of Scribner. Clarence was a farmer most of his life. He also 'ran the sheller' for Marv Wietfield, drove truck for Lyle Westphalen and school bus for the Scribner-Snyder School District.
Clarence was a member of St. John's Ridgeley Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 121 of Scribner and VFW Post #4912 of West Point.

Clarence was preceded in death by his Wife Sally after 55 years of marriage, parents, son-in-law Lyle Westphalen and sister Elaine Harms.
The funeral will be 10:30am, Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at St. John's Ridgeley Lutheran Church southwest of Scribner, burial with Military Honors will follow in the Scribner Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the church or the Scribner Volunteer Fire or Rescue Departments. Visitation will be Monday, February 20, 2023 at the Ludvigsen's Scribner Funeral Chapel in Scribner from 4pm to 8pm with the family present from 6pm to 8pm.
