Anna was born July 25, 1922 in Pender, Nebraska to Claus and Emma Schluter. She grew up on a farm east of Pender. Anna moved to Fremont and worked as a Bell Telephone operator until her marriage to Clarence C. Schlotfeld on February 19, 1954. They purchased a farm west of Blair, near Orum. Anna loved to garden and raised chickens and loved to cook. Clarence passed away on November 22, 1973. Anna moved to Fremont in 1975 and managed the Taylor Quick Pick on Bell Street in Fremont until her retirement. Anna was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont.

Son Lyle and wife Nancy Schlotfeld of Fremont
Granddaughters Susie and husband Scott McWhirter of Arlington
Angie and husband Jeremy Moss of Fremont.
8 great grandchildren
Sisters Helene Rector of Fremont
May Taylor of Oakland.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother George Schluter.
In honor of Anna's wishes there will be no funeral services. Memorials may be given in Anna's name to American Parkinson Disease Foundation.
