I served in the armed forces.

Lloyd was born March 14, 1929 in Humboldt, NE. to Lloyd and Katherine 'Johnson' Moyer Sr. He was raised and attended school there. After his schooling he worked on the family farm until being drafted into the Army. During his military years he served in Alaska building bridges. After his military service he returned to Syracuse and began working for the Nebraska Public Power District. On December 20, 1954 Lloyd married Myrle Johnson. The couple moved to Tecumseh in 1958 then to Hooper in 1967 and then back to Syracuse in 1982.

Lloyd retired from OPPD in 1990 and moved to Fremont in 1993. Myrle died January 10, 1998. Lloyd was a member of VFW Post 5547 in Syracuse and the American Legion Post #100 also in Syracuse.

3 Step grandchildren

Sister Dorothy of Pawnee City
Sisters-in-law Mary and husband Ron Meyer of Syracuse
Helen Johnson of Omaha
Brother-in-law Henry Johnson and friend Kathy Tom, of Ralston
nieces and nephews.
