She went to work for Hormel's here in Fremont as a secretary in 1948. On April 2, 1950, Marcella was married in Fremont's Trinity Lutheran Church to Raymond Greunke. Following her marriage, she began working at Midland Lutheran College where she spent 15 years, and then she worked the next 15 years for the Fremont National Bank.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she had served as the Sunday School superintendent for many years. She was also a member of the Auxiliary of VFW Post 854 of Fremont.

She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
The funeral service will be 10:30 AM Friday (March 28th) in Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Mike Meyer officiating. The committal will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church and School.
Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary will be today (Thursday (March 27th) from 2 to 8 PM, with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 PM. Visitation will also be at the church Friday morning for an hour before the service.
