Marjorie was born March 19, 1920 in Fremont to Henry and Helen 'Olson' Beaver. She grew up living in several different states as her family moved due to her father's work.

On April 2, 1936, she was married to Donald P. Tank in Marysville, Kansas. They lived all their married years on the farm northwest of Fremont. Marjorie was a busy housewife, raising 5 children, and taking care of a large garden, along with canning a lot of that which she raised.

She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church of Fremont. She was a Red Cross Volunteer at the local hospital for 24 years, also had been a 4-H Leader for many years, was a member of the Izaak Walton League for many years, and served on the Maple Township election board for several years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald P. Tank, who died on January 16th of this year (2008), and by 2 brothers, Victor and Joseph.

Nancy and husband Steven Martin of Plattsmouth
3 sons - Donald H. and wife Vivian Tank of Crawford
Paul and wife Lois Ann Tank of Fremont
Leslie Tank of Fremont
10 grandchildren
17 great grandchildren
2 brothers - Lee and wife Elyse Beaver of Aptos, Calif.
Larry and wife Sharon Beaver of Gresham, Ore.

The funeral service will be 1 PM Monday (April 28th, 2008) at Salem Lutheran Church with the Rev. Michael Thomas officiating. The committal will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Research.

Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary will be on Sunday (April 27th) from 2 to 6 PM, with the family present from 2 to 4 PM.
