Marla and I were friends for so long, as long as I can remember. We went through so many things together. She was in my wedding and I was in hers. Lots and lots of laughs together that will be missed. I'm sure that from time to time there will be things that will happen that will let me know that Marla is still with us in spirit and will bring a smile to my face once again. I have so many things around me in my everyday life that remind me of her and all of the time that we spent together. We will miss you. My prayers are with Marla's family through this difficult time in their lives.

My mother was Tanya Malenosky-King and I practically grew up knowing my mom, Marla and Joyce as the best of friends. All those crazy times they had working at Golden Corral and all the fun times they had just being friends. Too many times to count, I remember them laughing 'til tears streamed down their faces. They were SO funny together. If Joyce reads this...I can still remember you guys laughing about the "Take me out to the ballgame" ordeal. Marla and my mother were very close and since my mother passed in 2001, I can imagine them laughing it up once again. I have many many fond memories of Marla and know that the good Lord has her back home. I will pray that he also comfort the family and give peace during this time of heartache. May God be with you. I think I have some old pictures if Laura would like to have copies. I'd be more than happy to send them to her. God Bless, Jennifer (Malenosky) Sullivan

Marla was my boss at Taco Bell in Fremont. She was the best boss, she didn't act like a boss but more of a friend to everyone who worked for her. She was such a happy and bubbly person, she will be greatly missed.

I am so sad to hear about Marla's passing...I just saw her not to long ago at Burger King. She always asked about my brother (I think they dated a few times-long ago) and always was happy and fun to visit with. When I picture her, I see her with a big beautiful smile, and sweet, kind personality. I am so so sad to hear she is gone. To Marla's family- please know that so many people are thinking of you all and praying for God's comfort and peace for you during shocking and horrible time. My 2 children ages 24 & 27 just lost their dad April 10th, at the age of 46, and so I know what sadness you are feeling. I will be praying for you. God Bless you all. With loving sincere fondness of Marla, Julie (Wilkey) Bechtel

I am so sorry to hear about Marla's passing. I though I haven't seen Marla for awhile, she will be missed. She was a great friend and caring person. She always had a smile and I remember when she found out she was going to have a baby, you could not have seen a happer person. I don't think I ever saw her not smiling. When she worked at Taco Bell in Fremont, she made fun of me cause I always ordered stuff not on the menu in NE. But she made it anyway. My heart and prayers are with you, I hope that her memories will support you through this difficult time. God Bless Kim
