On May 15, 1937, she was married in Glenwood, Iowa to Kenneth S. Toma. They made their home in Omaha until moving to Fremont in August of 1962. Ethel was a mother and home maker.
She was a member of The Presbyterian Church. As her husband was a member of the Lion's Club, Ethel was a Lioness, and was chosen as the Lioness of the Year in 1975-76.
Survivors: 2 daughters - Karen and husband Ron Freeman of Simi Valley, Calif.
Marjorie Kay and husband Russell Suiter of Seattle, Wash.
2 sons - Kenneth and wife Dene Toma of Conroe, Tex.
Terry Toma of Hancock, MN.

Ethel's husband Kenneth preceded her in death on November 25, 2003.
The funeral service will be 11 AM Monday (August 4th) in the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Dr. William Lewis officiating. The committal will be at 2 PM in Omaha in the Evergreen Cemetery (north of 78th & West Center Rd). Memorials are suggested to The Presbyterian Church and the Fremont Area Medical Center Hospice.
Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont will be on Sunday (Aug. 3rd) from 2 to 6 PM.
