Verna is survived by

her son - Allen and wife Lauri Wilken of Lincoln,
five grandchildren,

and various nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at Sinai Lutheran Church, 950 East 8th Street, Fremont, on Wednesday, November 12, at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 1 hour before the service at the church.
The family asks that lieu of flowers, donations be made to one of the following:

Lincoln, NE Monday, November 10, 2008 I will surely miss Aunt Verna, especially around the holidays. I always felt that she was a connection to my mom, who passed away over 40 years ago. I always enjoyed visiting with her about her life on the farm (the same farm where I grew up), attending country school (once again the same one I attended), teaching school, etc. She passed on to me some of her special school supplies, which are still being used today by one of my friends. Her biggest highlight to discuss was always her children and grandchildren - her face always lit up talking about their various activities and achievements.Sandy Frahm
