What a wonderful woman Cindy was! As a teacher she left a lasting impression on so many children. As a wife and mother she always demonstrated care and concern for those she loved. She was always more concerned about others than she was about herself. May many happy memories bring you comfort during these days and in the future! We are thankful to have known her and are thankful that she is now at rest.

I count it a special blessing from the Lord to have had Cindy in my life. She and Ron welcomed me into a new church family when I was a freshman at Midland and offered their hospitality of spirit to me throughout the four years I was there. She also did a little "finishing" work on Mark such that when she and Ron were done with him, he was wonderful marriage material! Her faith, love and joy have been models of Christian discipleship for me for many many years and I have known much joy as her friend. 2 Timothy 2:11 says, "This is a true saying: If we die with him, we will also live with him." We watch with faith for Jesus' promised return and the fulfillment of his promise with Ron, Matt, Julie & Kaitlynn, Michelle and Justin and the rest of her family and friends.

Dear Family, Our hearts go out to you with tears and yet a sense of peace...the marvelous peace of God. Knowing that all God's promises are complete for Cindy, who loved Jesus very much. We remember how courageous Cindy was with her illness and how she coped. We will also remember her kindness, her easy and genuine smile and her generous gift of hospitality. Pay close attention to God's grace in the days and months ahead...you will be blessed with grace moments in the cards, flowers, gifts of food, hugs...any time someone reaches out to you. Those are the sure signs that God is with you, taking care of you and loving you through your grief. We will be praying for all of you. Hold tight to the Easter story. Our love....Lyle and Lonna

We were blessed in meeting Ron and Cindy when Michelle married our son, Justin. We have been truly blessed in knowing Ron & Cindy, and seeing what a great couple they are, and what great parents and grandparents they are. You can see family means everything to them. Although we did not get the opportunity to know Cindy better, you knew she was devoted to her Lord and Savior and that she has led a faith-filled and quality life in her 58 years. We will all miss her gracious smile and bubbly personality. We feel blessed that we were able to know her this short time. Our deepest sympathy goes out to you all. May your loving memories help sustain you in the difficult days ahead. Our love and prayers are with you all.

Our deepest Sympathy on the loss of Mrs Rossow , she was our daughter Kelsey's First teacher, in Kindegarten at Northside school. She was always willing to talk to us, always had that smile , and even long after Kelsey was gone from Northside , when we would see her , she would always ask how she was doing . She had a lasting impression on Kelsey as im sure she did on many former students . When we told Kelsey today about her , she shed many tears , that is how much students cared about her. Our thoughts are with Mr Rossow and her family ..

To all of you who have written: Thank you for being part of Cindy's life. She treasured each of you, and the love, prayers, and support you gave her. You said very kind words about Cindy, and I have to say she was the same person as a sister as she was a friend. She reminds me so much of our mother: Amazing strength, incredible courage, unshakeable faith, unending love, and an open heart and home. I'm sorry, if you wanted some dirt on Cindy, you are not getting it here. We all know Cindy would never allow any dirt! : ) I remember Mom anticipating the family coming for the weekend and saying "I have to get the house Cindy-clean!". Cindy was the same for her guests...She was honored to have you present, and wanted to always have the house spotless and at least two kinds of bars made ahead of time! She wanted to be able to focus on you when you were there, so she was busy cooking, labeling the red koolaid, and cleaning before you came! Cindy was a very stabilizing part of the family, and will be sadly missed. But she also was part of that strong family faith, so we celebrate with her the resurrection of life!! When it was necessary, Cindy was able to be firm, but she could do it with so much love. Lord knows I disappointed her enough, but she always remained beside me and managed to love the sinner while hating the sin, and was able to forgive that sin. I know that Cindy was an inspiration to many (certainly me included), and will leave her mark on people for many generations. She loved teaching in a way that only teachers understand...Even though much of her teaching career was half-time, her accomplishments should be a model for even those that teach in doctorate programs. There are many, many people out in the world who are better individuals because of her example and love. I thank all of you for loving Cindy and being a part of her life. I know you felt blessed by knowing her, but she greatly benefited from knowing you. I only wish you could have had the opportunity to know her as I did and for as long as I did. Even in our grief and sadness, we can see that God is blessing and honoring us with having known Cindy Jane

My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of sadness and loss. Cindy was such a positive and joyful person. Her smile was contagious to those around her and she will be greatly missed. May you be comforted by the loving arms of our faithful Lord and the assurance that Cindy is celebrating Easter with her Saviour.
  35. Betty (Hummelgard) Keeney
Ron, I thought about you and Cindy this week and wondered how you both were, and then Paul called today to give me the news - on Good Friday. But as this is a day of sorrow, we look forward to the resurrection on Easter Sunday with full knowledge Cindy is with her Lord and Savior. I'm sure I never adequately thanked you both for being so kind to my Paul when he was at Midland and later. Not only did Cindy get that beautiful smile from Helen but the love she shared with others. God be with you all and give you His strength as you mourn your loss.
  36. Nick Janssen
