Juliane, I was sorry to see that your grandma passed away. I remember how much fun we had doing crafts together at her house. She was a very nice lady and I know you will miss her. We are thinking of you and your family.

Kay and Karen: I read the Fremont Tribune daily and just read of your mother's passing. Please accept my condolences. I'm not sure if you remember me or not but I remember both of you and your mother from 4H so many years ago.

It was always such a treat to visit with Irma! She just loved my dog, Henry, and always lit up when he sat in her lap. She was always so gentle with him, and loving. I'm sure that was how she was all her life! I had not been working in the Fremont area for a long time, but was in town last week. Irma was one of the first people I asked about and had heard she was in the hospital. I was so sorry that I couldn't stop by and visit with her - I had Henry with me! I also remember when Carl was alive and how devoted they were to each other. I first met them both during better times when they were living at the Square. How lucky they were to have had each other for so long! Thank you for sharing them both with me. They are the reason I love my work so much. Sincerely, Sue and Henry
