Seems like we are losing the brothers and sisters at quite a pace. I am praying for the members of the families. At least we have peace knowing they are together again. I can remember being at Aunt Elda's house in Fremont years ago when I was little. The sisters were crafting the pinecone wreaths. I think I spent more time eating walnuts than "helping" with the project!

The last time I saw your dad was at a Nebraska womans basketball game. He was there with Milt Ebers. My parents considered Elmer and Elda among their best friends. Their connection at Midland goes way back to the 60's. My three brothers and I all graduated from Midland and have fond memories of the Sasse family. Our families also enjoyed a connection as Big Red fans. My son,Todd, just completed his career at Nebraska and we always wished the my Dad and Elmer could have seen him play. Our best wishes to your family and we look forward to seeing Elmer and Elda in heaven!!
