I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of your loss. I especially reach out to you girls, Denise & Darla, and know this is so hard to lose your mother. Sorry I was not able to be there at the memorial, I so wanted to see you and give you hugs! Joyce was a great, spirited gal with a huge heart! Her laugh was soooo contagious! :) I remember many a party at your farm house when you girls and my girls would hang out together and you could expose them to the many joys of country living!!! Hayrack rides for the adults, those were the days and lots of fun memories! Yes, and all those conventions, makeovers, etc. ~ Wow! A mother's love lives forever, and so it is, she will live in and through you girls, her daughters. She will always be with you. God Bless you and all of your family. With fond memories and love, Carol Muller

Joyce is a "winner"! She fought her battle with all her might and in the end she is now with her Heavenly Father. These last few years and months showed us all, the courageous woman, she is. Joyce loved life. We always had fun.....even years ago when we traveled for functions and lately when it was appointments.......we always visited and laughed. I will miss her.......but memories live on within our hearts forever. My sympathy to the family. Susan Schlecht

JOYCE WAS A GOOD FRIEND AND "SISTER" TO ME FOR OVER 30 YEARS. SHE WAS ONE OF THE FIRST FRIENDS WE MADE WHEN WE MOVED TO FREMONT AND WE HAVE DONE A LOT OF CRYING AND LAUGHING OVER THE YEARS. I AM SO HAPPY THAT SHE FOUND LYLE AND WAS HAPPY AGAIN WITH HER LIFE. CHRISTIAN AND BELLA WERE SO IMPORTANT TO HER AND SO WAS DENISE, DARLA AND HER TWO SON IN LAWS. SHE WAS ALWAYS SO PROUD AND PARTICULAR WITH THE HOUSE, BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE; HER GARDEN AND FLOWERS WERE VERY IMPORTANT TO HER AND I COULD ALWAYS ASK HER ANY PLANT QUESTIONS AND SHE WOULD KNOW. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN TAKING CAKE DECORATING CLASSES AND WE ATE WAY TO MUCH FROSTING!!! HER PIES WERE INCREDIBLE AND SHE USUALLY HAD CHOCLATE CHIP COOKIES IN THE FREEZER. I AM GOING TO MISS MY FRIEND AND "SISTER" - JOYCE. LOVE YOU VICKIE

Some of my best memories of Joyce were from the cross-country meets. She was always out there cheering for every girl on that team. After the races, all of us would wander over to Joyce's car and she would open the trunk and surprise us with all sorts of goodies. She took such good care of all of us and was a mom to us all. She was SO proud of you, Denise and Darla. My thoughts and prayers are with both of you. Katie Hansen

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Joyce. When she worked at SavRx she spoke of her family with a lot of love and pride. She was a person who could always be counted on to tell you how it was and to never sugar coat anything. May you all know she is at peace now and no longer in pain. Joyce, you will be missed but always in our hearts!!!

I met Joyce at NWMSU back in 1988, as I spent a lot of time with her daughter, Denise, in college and after our college days. Joyce was always very pleasant, outgoing, talkative and enjoyed hearing about how all Denise's college girlfriends were doing. She took an interest in each and every one of us. This is a very sad and difficult time for all of you. I am so sorry for your loss. I am thinking of you, Denise, and of your entire family. Take care of one another. Love, Paula Jacobson

You are in my thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort in the memories of your mom. There are a lot of memories flooding my mind of when we were growing up. Walking (riding) beans. The different Amway vacations together. The color analysis our moms did on us. Those are some of my favorite memories with your family. May God comfort you during this time.

I have worked with Joyce for many years. Joyce, is a beautiful woman with a heart of gold..was always there to help out everyone no matter what, and expected nothing in return but a kind word. You could see the joy on her face. She will be greatly miss by all, her smiles, sense of humor, and laughter. Joyce was a fighter in all aspects of life, and never gave up easy. She sure loved her husband Lyle, family and her Grand-babies very deeply and spoke of you all daily with much joy and happiness. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. She now has no more pain or suffering, May she now Fly amongst the Angels and be a Special Guardian Angel for you all. Love and miss you Joyce, your smile, your kindness, and laughter will remain with me always.. Rest in Peace My Friend!
