Hooper, NE Friday, March 6, 2026 Oh Carmen, I’m so sorry to learn of your Mom’s recent death. Your Mom took my engagement photo many years ago when I was a student at Midland. May our Lord wrap his comforting arms around you and your family!!Laurie and Floyd Knodel
FREMONT, NE Tuesday, February 17, 2026 Helene was a wonderful friend, devoted family elder, and very talented photographer. Laurie and I came to know her in her retirement years and enjoyed her great knowledge and experiences over such a wide variety of life challenges. She was always thankful to America for giving her a safe home away from the terrible happenings in Europe during World War II. She was so proud of all her children and Grandchildren. She always loved family gatherings where both family members and family friends would attend. Helene will be greatly missed by Laurie and I and by many, many others who knew her. She lived a very full and engaging life. With great respect always, Laurie and Floyd Knodel.
