Karen R. Garrison, age 86 of Lincoln, Nebraska, formerly of Fremont
passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025.

Karen was born March 13, 1939 in Wahoo to Glenn and Marie (Neff) Robbins. Karen grew up in Wahoo and graduated from Wahoo High School in 1957. On April 28, 1961, she married the love of her life, Dean Garrison. Together they built a life rooted in family, hard work, and simple joys.

Over the years, Karen was employed as a telephone operator, cleaned homes, at a Fremont hotel, and at the Fremont Answering Service. Karen had a gift for creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming home. Her home was always a place of comfort, care, and order. She took great pride in caring for those she loved. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Darwin and Leland Robbins, sisters Helen Warner and Jean Beezley and her husband, Dean. Those left to cherish Karen's memory include her sister, Cheryl Miller; sister-in-law, Christy Robbins; children: Jenny (Chip) Bahe, and Douglas (Kim) Garrison; grandchildren: Rylee Bahe, Madi (Trevor) Brown, Carter and Molly Garrison and her great-grandson, Harrison Brown. Additionally, she is survived by a wonderful group of nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 4530 A Street Lincoln, NE. In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made in Karen's honor to CHI Health at Home Hospice-Lincoln 237 S 84th St. Ste #300 Lincoln, NE. 68510,
