Died Friday, June 27, 2025 at Methodist Fremont Health.
Travis was born January 1, 1981, in Fremont the son of Allen and Mary Jo 'Weber' Puetz. Travis was raised and went to school in Fremont, graduating with the class of 1999. Travis was a supervisor at Hormel/Wholestone Foods in Fremont, working there for 23 years.
Travis and Kim met in high school and continued their relationship for 4 more years. In March of 2020, Travis and Kim rekindled their love and were married on the beach in St. Petersburg, Florida on July 14, 2022. Travis enjoyed many things in life. His biggest love, besides Kim, is his sidekick Brick, along side Luna and Larry. He loved riding his motorcycle, had a love for Husker Football, having friends and family over where he showed off his meat smoking skills. Travis longed to eventually start his own smoked meat food truck.
Travis always wanted to be around his family, His dad Allen, brother Jeff and sister Jenni.

Travis was preceded in death by his mother Mary Jo Puetz, grandparents Don & Delores Weber, Urban and Stella Puetz, Uncle Gary Puetz, Aunt Peggy Weber and nephew Dylan Dixon.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont from 3pm to 8pm with the family present from 5pm to 7pm. The funeral will be 10am, Thursday, July 3, 2025 also at the funeral home.
