Sandra ''Sandy'' Lee (Conrad) Connerley, age 84, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away suddenly February 16, 2025, at Methodist Hospital, Omaha, NE.

She was born in Fremont, NE, on March 30, 1940. She graduated from Fremont High School in 1958 and went on to study cosmetology at Reece and Sybil College in Lincoln, NE. After college, she married Robert R. Connerley in 1959. They then began their family of three children. Rob (Cheyenne, WY), Rhonda/Jay (Fremont, NE) and Royce/Annette (Omaha, NE).

Her family and friends brought her great joy. She was a great mother to her children, and they were lucky to have such a loving, caring mom. She worked numerous part-time jobs while they were raising their family. Times weren't always easy, but she always provided everything they needed as they were growing up. She always planned family vacations in the summer to fun destinations, mostly to visit family members. Whether that was Michigan, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, she always had great adventures. There are many fond memories and fun stories of the family pickup and camper. The trips usually involved her mom, cousins, or mostly anyone was welcomed by her. She was affectionately referred to as ''mom'' by most of the kids' friends. She was an amazing cook. She could definitely make something out of nothing! Even as the kids grew older and they were in their many activities and jobs, she always had a good hot meal ready for them.

Her granddaughters (Riley/Jake, great-grandson Auden, Amanda/Andrew) were very special to her as well. And would try their best to visit them or have them come stay awhile in the summers. Many trips across Nebraska to Colorado and Wyoming to be with them. And when her health wouldn't allow her to go to their achievements as they grew up, she was heartbroken. She truly hated missing college graduations and weddings and babies being born.

She loved everyone. She always said she would've had a dozen kids if the money would've allowed her to. And although she grew up in town, she loved her pets. Most recently her cats, Spot and Shadow. Her laugh was infectious and everyone loved her. She loved God and her faith got her through many struggles in life. The last few years, she struggled with mobility and was very frustrated at this. But she was a very strong and optimistic soul! And when times got her down, she loved to read. This kept her mind sharp and strong. And don't forget her Huskers! She loved anything Husker, but especially volleyball and football.

She was preceded in death by her husband, dad, mom, sister, daughter-in-law, Gail and other family members.

There will be a celebration of her life at a later date, to be announced, as all will be welcome to share their stories and celebrate her life! Donations/charities will be listed as the celebration nears.

Thank you for all the kind words and love shown with her recent passing. It will be difficult to fill the void that is left but knowing that she is resting in peace and with her God, family and friends, we are making peace with our loss.
