Edmond, OK Wednesday, January 31, 2024 It is with great sadness I heard about Aaron's (AVB) passing.I met him at Taylor University and he was a larger than life individual, in size and personality. We formed a great friendship during those years, and he often talked about his desire to join the Omaha Police Department. He was definitely a man who felt the call to serve. After college we didn't talk much but when we did it was like we were back at Taylor. Most recently we talked about his dog breeding/training business, his work as a Youth Pastor, and the after school program. However, he was most proud when we talked about his family.
AVB was a great friend and brother in Christ. He will be missed on this side of Heaven, but now he sees God face to face (1 Corinthians 13:12).
To Amy and the Von Behren family, my condolence. I pray for God's comfort in this time of mourning.

North Platte, NE Monday, January 29, 2024 Aaron Paul Von Behren exemplified a life focused on God, home, and country. This is reflected in his pursuit of a high-quality education, patriotic military service, protection and service as a first responder, dog trainer, and youth pastor. He will be missed, but his legacy will continue to be reflected in the lives of his friends and family. May he rest in peace.Cindy and Jim Braun
