It is with tremendous sadness that the family of Terri Ann (Mines) Maschka announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, age 68, of Fremont.

Terri passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Clarkson Hospital surrounded by the love of family and friends. Terri was preceded in death by her parents Mary Theresa (Pupkes) Mines and Duane Herman Mines.

Terri grew up in Hooper Nebraska. She graduated from Logan View Jr-Sr High School in 1973 where she loved playing French Horn, and singing with her beautiful voice in Choir. She attended Midland Lutheran College on a full Music Scholarship. She graduated from Clarkson Nursing School at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Terri was a devoted Mother and Grandmother. She loved working with Dr. ''Kang'' at St Elizabeth's Hospital in Lincoln, while performing surgical assists for repair of brain aneurysms. Most recently, she loved working at Methodist Mental Health.

Terri had a zest for life and a great sense of humor. She loved everything, up-cycling, remodeling, gardening, and crafting. There wasn't a stranger in Terri's life, only new friends.

Please respect our families' privacy during this time of loss.

A Nebraska Nurse Honor Guard service will be held for Terri on Dec. 29th, 2023 at 10:30am at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont, immediately followed by a celebration of life service. In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree or send a donation to The Bridge (141 South Union St. Fremont, NE., 68025, https://bridgefromviolence.com) in Terri's honor.

Thinking of the Mines family during this difficult time. I lived next to her family many years in Hooper, NE and went to school with all of them graduated with her brother Bob. I also worked years at Mine's Drug Store for her dad Duane and Terri worked with me there. She as a fun person back then havent seen her for many years but she was a nurse for a friend of mine when they were in the hospital in Omaha and asked about me. What a tragedy gone to soon but will never be forgotten.
