Harvey H. Peters Sr., age 94, of Fremont
Died Wednesday October 18, 2023 at home.

Harvey was born March 17, 1929 in Ogallala, Nebraska to Harley and Clara 'Winter' Peters. He lived in Grenada, MS. from 5 years old until the age of 16. He returned to Nebraska and enlisted in the Army at 17. He served from 1946 to 1947. He lived in Julesburg, CO., then moved to Mitchell, NE. In December of 1948, he married Cora Carlson. They lived in Lyman and Bridgeport, NE until 1956. They moved to Millard then Waterloo before coming to Fremont in 1965. Harvey retired from AT&T in 1985, he also farmed, worked on a ranch and worked for Union Pacific when he lived in Western Nebraska.

Daughters - Diana (Rick) Mengedoht of Fremont
Helen (Mark) Thoele of Missouri
Christine Peters of Florida
Sons - David Peters of Greeley, CO.
Harvey (Rene) Peters Jr. of Fremont
17 Grandchildren and many great grandchildren

Harvey was preceded in death by his wife Cora in 1993, he was also married to Ruth Privett and she passed away in 2014.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont from noon to 2pm. Burial with Military Honors by the Fremont Honor Guard will follow the visitation in Ridge Cemetery.
