Shirley was born 11 October 1934 to Alfred and Gertrude Beerbohm.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Erickson, her daughter Karen K. Hudec, son-in-law Robert Hudec, grandson Thomas R. Shearer, great-grandson Madden Lowther, brothers Lyle and Verriel Beerbohm, and sister LaVay Carroll.
She is survived by her children Wendy (Tom) Shearer, Doug (Sue) Kuhrts, Sally Staschke (Wesley Burch). Grandchildren Rob (Jesi) Connick, Herman (Rebekah) Staschke, Kim (Eric) Taake, Christine Lowther, and Elizabeth (Caleb) Chvatal. Great-Grandchildren April and Taylor Connick, Charlotte Staschke, Trenen Lowther, Mayley and Kingston Taake. Her sister Marcie Kocour. Her extended family, Merit (ice cream eating buddy) and LuAnn Bell and her lifetime friend Jane Kotik.
Shirley grew up in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High School in 1952. After high school she worked as a telephone operator. A few years later she started working at Campbell Soup. She eventually retired from Campbell soup and took on a new adventure as a traveling consultant and then retired fully at 75 years old. She enjoyed spending time with her family and having her grandsons come and stay with her during their summer vacation.
There will be no services per her request.
