Michael was born November 3, 1939 in Santa Barbara, California to Warren and Hildreth 'Hansen' Daniel. The family moved to Meadow Grove, Nebraska when he was 3 years old. He was raised in Meadow Grove and graduated from Meadow Grove High School in 1957. He enlisted in the U.S. Army following high school and served until 1960, mostly in Germany. After his military service Michael returned to Meadow Grove. He married Barbara O'Banion on January 1, 1961. He worked various jobs until beginning what became a long career with John Deere. He started in Bloomfield, Nebraska and in 1969 the couple moved to Hooper where he began working for Kassmeier Implement in Hooper and Fremont in sales, working for a total of 35 years. The couple lived in Hooper for 44 years before moving to Fremont.
Michael enjoyed hunting and target shooting.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, brother Barry Daniel and 3 brothers-in-law.
The family will celebrate Michael's life with a visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. Memorials may be directed to the family. There will be no further services at this time.
