Darrell spent his adult life in the Omaha, Elkhorn and Fremont areas where he worked in heavy truck parts at Paul Lucht Body Shop and Sapp Brothers Trucks and later in the fastener business at Nebraska-Iowa Industrial Fasteners. Roswell, NM Monday, August 5, 2019 I wish we could have been there. My heart is with you and my prayers go to all of you. He will be missed and rest assured that heaven must be a great place with all who have gone with him. It is comforting for me to think that Dad is with Dick and that they must be farming in heaven. Now they have Darrell with them. Take care of yourself and I hope to visit in the future. Jeri and family.Michelle thhurman

Papillion, NE Tuesday, July 30, 2019 Dean and extended family,Darrell was a extremely good man with quite a sense of humor. Always enjoyed talking with him. So sorry for his passing, but perhaps it is for the better. He and my father, who also passed away due to Parkinson's, probably have already buddied up. They could be strolling together right now, a picture of health and a perfect display of two steady gaits.
