Columbus, NE Tuesday, December 4, 2018 Lisa and girls,My heartfelt prayers for your family during this most difficult time. I loved coming to help at the fair because I always knew Mark would come say hello and we would share some laughs. He was an amazing "Extension husband", someone who got it and was always willing to step in and help. I remember fondly all his help at State Fair in the Child Development area. It makes me smile. Keep your memories close. Thinking of you all, Lisa

Clarkson, NE Tuesday, December 4, 2018 Lisa & Family,It is with deep sorrow to hear the news of Mark's passing. Mark was a kind and conscientious man. My association with him as our partsman for Vacin Inc and Vavrina Inc will forever be remembered. I was also impressed with his handyman skills, particularly on the remodeling of your home. Mark was very proud of that - and he had every reason to be. Our prayers will be with you.

He always had a great spirit and always was happy with life. He was very proud of the Dodge County fair and what they have done. I'll never forget him saying, "We go one for guys like you, some band called Hairball." I don't know why God takes guys like Mark but I guarantee that he will make Heaven an awesome place to be!!!!
