Marilyn is survived by Husband Lyle, Daughter Nancy Ellison and special friend William Roberts, and Son Scott Lovelady and special friend Nicole Tomasek, 5 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, Sister Billy Jo (Gene) Bastian of Omaha, and nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was born on February 22, 1944 in Fremont Nebraska to Lester and Georgia (Dryden) Wooden. She attended Fremont Schools. She married Lyle on August 28 1961. They lived in the Fremont area up until they settled in Hooper in 1972. Marilyn was a home maker. Marilyn enjoyed camping and church activities. She was active in the church as a member of UMW and advisory council. Her favorite activity was receiving visits from her grandchildren and spending holiday dinners with family.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10:30am on Saturday, November 17th 2018 at Faith United Methodist Church in Hooper with a reception to follow. Pastor Dennis Wheeler will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Marilyn's life. Flowers and condolences may be sent to Ludvigsen Mortuary. Memorials are suggested to Faith United Methodist Church Hooper, NE.
