Kenneth D. 'Kenny' Hoffman age 61, of Fremont
Died peacefully May 2, 2018 at his home.

Kenny was born September 10, 1956 to Melvin and Lovetta 'Eary' Hoffman. When Kenny was very young the family moved to Fremont. He attended Fremont schools then enlisted in the U.S. Army. After his military service he worked in the Fremont/Omaha and surrounding areas as a disc jockey. He was very involved in disco music and roller skating. Kenny loved Elvis Presley and the Chicago Cubs. 19 years ago Kenny moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas, where he met the love of his life for the last 18 years, Teresa Klopping. Together, they moved back to Fremont 5 years ago to be near family, as Kenny had a long battle with lung cancer and COPD. Kenny, with Teresa resided in Fremont until his death.

Many nieces, nephews and cousins

Kenny was preceded in death by his father Melvin 'Toby' Hoffman.

Kenneth's cousin Randy Eary (The other Cub Fan) died a month ago in Arizona so the family will have a 'Shared Celebration of Lives' on Saturday May 12th at 23540 West Maple Road (68069), in Waterloo beginning at 12:30pm. All friends and relatives are invited. Memorials may be directed to the family or the American Cancer Society/Lung Cancer.
