After a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Justin was born January 28, 1991 to Kevin and Sharon 'Renter' Meyer in Fremont. He attended Scribner-Snyder Community Schools, graduating in 2009. After graduation he attended Southeast Community College and became a certified personal trainer. He was employed by Carriage Glen Assisted Living Center in Lincoln until his illness.
Justin was an avid sports fan with a deep passion for Husker football and Cubs baseball. He enjoyed playing golf, fantasy football, and the company of family and good friends. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Scribner. He will be truly missed by all those people close to him.
Justin is survived by his parents Kevin and Sharon of Scribner, sister and brother-in-law Andrea and Victor Johnson of Kearney, sister Alyssa of Lincoln, grandparents Keith and Jeanene Renter of West Point and Dean Beck of Scribner. He was preceded in death by grandparents Lavon Meyer and Joan Beck.
The funeral mass will be 10:30am Wednesday April 11, 2018 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Scribner. Burial will follow in the Scribner Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday April 10, 2018 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church from 4pm to 8pm with the family present from 6pm to 8pm. A memorial will be established at a later date.
