Helen Bartosh

Helen was born November 2, 1923 on the family farm near Ames, Nebraska. Her parents were Hans and Anna 'Glindemann' Gerths. Helen was a graduate of Dodge, Nebraska High School.
On February 23, 1949, she was married in Fremont to Franklin G. Bartosh. They farmed near Dodge until retiring and moving to Ft. Myers, Florida in 1982. Franklin died on March 8, 1989 in Florida, and later that year Helen moved to Fremont.
Helen was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Dodge.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death in addition to her husband Franklin, by 2 sisters (Margaret Pfeiffer and Betty Costa) and by 3 brothers (Harry, George, and John), and her parents Hans and Anna Gerths.
The funeral service will be 11 AM on Friday (May 16, 2008) in Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont. The committal will be in the Scribner Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to her church.
Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont will be on Thursday (May 15th) from 2 to 8 PM, with the family receiving friends from 5pm to 7 PM.
