He was born in Meadow Grove, NE to Perry and Sophia (Mock) Dearmin on August 8, 1923. He grew up in Meadow Grove, graduating from high school. He was a medic in the United States Army during WW II, and
saw action in Europe.
He was a long time Fremont resident, and moved to Lincoln in 2006 to be with a daughter.
Survivors: 3 daughters - Linda and husband Daniel Rasmussen of Oakland, NE
Vicki and husband Kenneth Geisler of Lincoln, NE
Deborah and husband James Mayo of Atlanta, Georgia
3 step-children - Kenneth and wife Sandy McMahon of Fremont
Shirley McMahon of Colorado
David and wife Angie McMahon of David City
Several grandchildren and great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents Perry and Sophia, 2 wives, Loretta 'Lind' Dearmin and Gretta McMahon Dearmin, a brother and 2 sisters, 3 grandchildren, special friend Joan Knudsen.
There will be a Memorial Visitation with the family Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 PM at the Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont. There are no further public services.
