Lloyd D. Carlson

Lloyd was born on the family farm 3½ miles south of Mead, Nebraska on February 24, 1928 to Algot and Agda Carlson. He attended the Mead High School. He was a life long resident of the Mead/Fremont area.
For most of his working years, Lloyd worked for Hormel's, beginning in 1949 and continuing until retirement.
He enjoyed fishing, gardening, bowling, dancing, playing cards, and carpentry work.

Lloyd was preceded in death by a son Brian, and by 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
The funeral service will be 10 AM Tuesday (July 29, 2008 ) in the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel, Fremont, with Chaplain Scott Jensen officiating. The committal will follow in Memorial Cemetery. The visitation will be in the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel on Monday from 2 to 8 PM, with the family present from 6:30 to 8 PM.
