Robert W. Jensen

He was born July 10, 1928 in Fremont to Viggo and Elsie 'Johnson' Jensen. He grew up in Fremont, graduating from Fremont High School. Later he received his doctorate from the University of Nebraska.
Over the years, he held various positions in higher education. He retired in 1983 while living in the state of Connecticut. At that time he was the state planning officer for the state technical college system in Connecticut.
He was also a retired Navy Commander, having served 25 years in both the active and reserve service. Among his duty stations, he saw time in Korea and Vietnam.

son Michael Jensen of Warroad, Minnesota
daughter - Susan and husband John Kerr of Virginia
and their son Mattie Kerr
brother - Harvey Jensen of Fremont
Robert was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth Jensen and a sister Marian Neufind.
There are no public services planned. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or any other cancer memorial fund. Ludvigsen Mortuary, Fremont, is in charge of the arrangements.
