Marlene was born July 14, 1936 near Leigh, Nebraska, the oldest of five children born to Harold and Marie (Geier) Reick. She lived most of her life in Fremont, where she had been employed by Campbell Soup Co. for 26 years before moving to Columbus. This past May, she moved to Gretna.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Marie Reick, two granddaughters, Mandy and Jenny, and a great granddaughter, Haley Elizabeth.

Marsha and husband Lynn Brown of Valley
Kim and husband David Blumm of Mountain Home, No. Carolina
1 son ? Jay Palmer and special friend Joan of Gretna
12 grandchildren
18 great grandchildren
2 sisters ? Marilyn and husband Ray Labens of Columbus
Sharon and husband Ray Lareine of Belvidere, Illinois
2 brothers ? Milan and wife Mary Ann Reick of Millard
Myron and wife Sandy Reick of Rochester, Michigan

A memorial service will be held 2 PM Friday (July 17th) in the chapel of Trinity Lutheran Church, Fremont, with the Rev. Dan Heuer officiating. The committal will follow in Memorial Cemetery. There is no public visitation.
