Conrad was born March 16, 1916 in West Point, NE. to William and Josephina 'Meier' Bliemeister. The family moved to Loretto for several years, then moved to Albion and finally back to West Point. Conrad was drafted and served in WWII from 1941 to 1945. He married Mary Ann Hartman in 1951. The couple farmed most of their life around the West Point area, until retiring into Hooper in 2000. Conrad loved to garden, and play cards. He was a member of the VFW Post 10535 of Hooper and St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church also in Hooper.

Son - Dan and wife Kelly of Cimarron, KS.
Son-in-law - Ron Schlickbernd of Dodge
Sister - Darlene and husband Fritz Wortman of West Point
Brother - William and wife Liz Bliemeister Jr. of West Point
14 grandchildren
21 great grandchildren

Conrad was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Brenda, grandson William Riesenberg, great grandson Bryce Mutizhe, 2 brothers Harold and Gale and a sister Esther.

The Memorial Mass will be 10:30am Friday July 31, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Hooper. Father Vitalis Anyanike will officiate. Private burial will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in West Point. Memorials to the donor's choice.
