Mildred Rasmussen

Mildred was born November 12, 1917 in Fremont to Levi and Rose 'Divis' Brown. She was raised in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High School. After high school Mildred was married to Karl H. Rasmussen III in Fremont. Together the couple started the "Time Shop" in 1945 which later became "Karl's Jewelry". Mildred worked there for 65 years. After Karl's closed she then went to work with her son Keith at "Karl's on Main", until her death.
Her husband Karl preceded her in death on October 4, 1990.
Mildred was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Fremont where she taught Sunday school, over a 50 year member of the Arbor Vitae Chapter #92 Order of the Eastern Star of Fremont, United Methodist Women, Business & Professional Women, Credit Women International, and Altrusa International Inc of Fremont for 42 years, serving as president in 1975 and 1984.

In addition to her husband Karl, Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and sister.
The funeral will be on Monday December 7 at 2pm at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel. The Rev. Greg Hall will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday December 6 from 3pm to 8pm with the family receiving friends from 3pm to 5pm at the funeral home.
