Vernon J. Low

Vernon was born May 2, 1916 on a farm near Scribner to Henry and Elsie (Peters) Low. He has lived all his life in the Scribner/Uehling area. He farmed for several years, then became a herdsman for the Hillside Dairy at Uehling for many years, and later he continued working for Willard Heyne.
On December 25, 1940, Vernon was married to Edna Witte, and she preceded him in death on October 4, 2006.
Vernon was also preceded by 3 sisters.

3 sons - Jerry and wife Nancy Low of Fontanelle
Glen and wife Bonnie Low of Uehling
Dennis and wife Paula Low of Uehling
7 grandchildren
9 great grandchildren
brother - Harold Low of Scribner
The funeral service will be 2 PM Tuesday (July 20th, 2010) at St. John's Lutheran Church (county line) with Vicar Jeffrey Schmitz officiating. The committal will be in St. John's Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to his church.
Visitation will be on Monday (July 19th) at Ludvigsen's Hooper Funeral Chapel in Hooper, Nebraska from 2 PM to 8 PM, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM.
