Louise Edwards, 87 of Fremont Louise departed this world peacefully and suddenly on July 11, 2026.
Louise was born on June 25, 1939 in McDowell County, Marion, North Carolina. She was born to John Proctor and Annie Kaylor. Later in life Louise moved to Nebraska, where she worked as a CNA for 39 years. After retiring, she assisted those in need with home healthcare, where she was known for her kindness and commitments.
Louise touched the lives of everyone who had the honor of knowing her. Her selflessness, warmth and generous spirit will be remembered forever. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that lives on in all of us. Louise loved her family and great-grandchildren. They were the joy of her life. Louise also loved her flowers (she talked to them like kids) and spending time outside reading her Bible.
Survivor's include her one daughter Donna (Cory) Mueller of North Bend. Two sons Doug (Lillian) Edwards of Nashville and John (Kara) Edwards of Fremont. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren: Amanda (Derek) Vyhlidal, Dalton Mueller, Jacob and Chad Kohout, Jordan and Joshua Edwards, Hunter Edwards, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Louise was preceded in death by her mother and father and 2 brothers Sam & JD Proctor.
The funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 15th at the Fremont Church of Christ. Preacher Bryan Becker will officiate. The family will receive friends before the service beginning at 9:30a.m. No burial at this time. Luncheon to follow in the fellowship hall.
A memorial has been established to the Fremont Church of Christ (4163 N Broad St., Fremont) in memory of Louise.
