Beverly started at country school in Coleridge where she and her two brothers rode an Indian pony named ''Charm'' to school, who was charming to look at except he would always buck them off before school but would always gallop home after school. In May, 1946 Beverly graduated from Randolph High School with at 2 year country school teaching certificate. She then taught in Randolph and Wakefield.

She was waitressing in Randolph where she met Cecil Phillip Jacobson, who had just returned home from the war. They were married June 21, 1947 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Coleridge. They lived and worked in Wakefield, Norfolk and then settled in Fremont. Beverly was employed as payroll manager/accounting at JC Penney and then retired from Liquid Feed Commodities in 1994.

She was a very dedicated member of Good Shepherd Lutheran church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She also enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing bridge and bunco, square dancing and was a faithful member of the ''Forever Fit'' class at the YMCA. Beverly lived a long and full life, was loved by everyone she knew or met. She loved to laugh and always had a smile. We are truly blessed to have had her as long as we did.
