Jill K. Watson, age 52, of Fremont died peacefully among loved ones on Wednesday, July 21 at Dunklau Gardens in Fremont.
Jill was born May 25, 1969 in Fremont to Richard and Marilyn 'Smeal' Nott. She was raised in Cedar Bluffs and North Bend, graduating from North Bend Central High School in 1987. She attended UNL before marrying Brian Watson in September, 1989. After their marriage they lived in Lincoln and Chadron before moving to Fremont. While living in Fremont she worked for Bergan Schools, Fremont Area Medical Center (now Methodist Fremont Health) and for Twin J Enterprises Inc. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Fremont.
Jill was extremely competitive in cards and board games. Cooking, baking, crafting and photography were all passions of hers. Supportive in all of her children's sports and activities, she loved documenting these events with her camera. She would even take pictures of other children and share them with those parents that could not attend.

Carnes of Chattanooga, TN Brothers - Troy (Christin) Nott of Cedar Bluffs Todd (Angee) Nott of Plattsmouth Mother-in-law - Marilyn Watson of Lincoln Brothers-in-law - Mark (Andrea) Watson of Highlands Ranch, CO Tom (Stephanie) Watson of Austin, TX Aunt - Joan (Dave) Stevens of Bemidji, MN Uncle - Gene (Marian) Nott of Fremont Aunt - Alice Nott of Fremont As well as many cousins, plus other family and friends.
Jill was preceded in death by her father-in-law Richard, uncle Gary and aunt Janice.
The funeral will be 10:30am, Thursday, July 29, 2021 at First Lutheran Church in Fremont. Rev. Ernesto Medina, Deacon Rick Strong and Rev. Scott Jensen will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3pm to 8pm with the family present from 6pm to 8pm at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont. A memorial fund will be established at a later date.
