Our deepest sympathy to all of Kae's family. We have many good memories of Kae at Logan View. Even though we now live in Texas, we followed Jordan's volleyball games when they were on television.
I remember a story my mother(Alberta Franke) told me a few years ago. She was grocery shopping in Fremont and Kae saw her. Kae took the time to stop and visit with my Mom. I know my mother appreciated that, espicially since she was Kae's old study hall supervisor at Logan View!!
A special note to Pat-I am deeply sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you. I will always remember our friendship that we had in High School.

I am totally and completely devastated. There are no words to describe what Kae meant to me. I have attempted many times to log my condolences, but have found my emotions prevent me from finishing. As I struggle through my tears, please know how very special I thought she was from the first time we met in 7th grade. I cherish the memories of our shenanigans and feel honored that we shared that special part of our lives together. The only problem that ever surfaced in our friendship was that phoning her was long distance (Uehling to Craig)! I used to save spare change and call her from the pay phone downtown - I didn't want my parents to notice on their phone bill how much we would talk!
Not realizing Kae had relapsed and was so ill, I only wish I would have expressed more directly and often to her the positive influence she had on me from the very beginning of our friendship. Even in her passing, she has taught me how important relationships and love are in life. Her grace, humor and spirit are treasured and enduring gifts.
Marge, as a mother of a daughter I cannot fathom the loss you are feeling. And Jordan, having lost my mother many years ago I know the heartache you are enduring. I have learned to respect and appreciate how strong that maternal bond is in a family. You both embody all that was special in Kae and I know in the days ahead, you will find strength in all that she gave. Pat, thank you for loving and caring for my dear friend - you are a special person. Ken and Kim, a sister is one of life's special things - your loss must be overwhelming. To all the family and friends, my deepest and most heartfelt condolences.
As I struggle to find comfort, I will remember the true testament of Kae's life was the love and leadership under which we were all adorned and inspired. Her caring and unselfish life was a precious gift that will forever be remembered.
Love always to you and your families.

I only had the priviledge of knowing Kae for short time at Duane Svec Advertising. She was a person who brought warmth and genuine caring to every relationship; always wanting to know about you first. We need more selfless people like her in todays world. She will be missed. I am very sorry to hear of Kae's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family and friends.
I met Kae at Wayne State College in the fall of 1976. She was a beautiful co-ed who carried herself with dignity and grace. She seemed to always be sporting a smile and was fun to be around. I was blessed to have known her during those brief years.
May you find comfort and peace in the arms of her savior Jesus Christ during this difficult time. Thursday, September 17, 2009 |
