Marilyn H. Vonderlage , 84, passed away Friday morning, June 10, 2016
at Bishop's Glen Nursing Home, Holly Hill, Florida.

Marilyn Joyce Hall was born on December 17, 1931 in Hooper, NE. She was the first daughter of Walter Hall and Clara (Heimann) Hall. Following attendance at St. Patrick's Catholic School, Marilyn attended Fremont High School. She married Allen Ostrand in 1951. They lived in a variety of places while he served in the United States Navy until he passed away from cancer in 1979. In 1992, Marilyn married her high school honey, Fred "Buzz" Vonderlage. They resided in Florida together ever since. Marilyn loved to travel, visiting family all over the United States. She shared her crafting, sewing, and crocheting talents with family and friends, giving many of her creations away. A meticulous decorator, she loved entertaining friends at her parties and her cooking was delicious.

She enjoyed being a member of Hope Lutheran Church, along with her husband "Buzz". Marilyn was faithfully by his side as Pastor Vonderlage's wife when he served as Interim Minister to seven Florida Congregations. She particularly liked crafting activities with the church women's groups.
