died Friday night in her Shalimar Garden apartment.
Margret was born August 30, 1919 in Lyons, Nebraska to Glen and Emma 'Nielson' Livers and lived her early years on the family farm there. The family moved to Fremont where she graduated from high school, and then attended Midland College. After receiving her teaching certificate from Midland, Margret taught in rural schools in this area.
On September 17, 1941, Margret was married to Dale Jacobsen and they made their home on the farm northwest of Fremont where Margret resided until 2 years ago when she moved into Shalimar Garden.
Margret was a member of Bluffs Trinity Lutheran Church (northwest of Fremont) where she had held many of the church offices. She had been active in the church women's organizations. She sang in the choir for many years and was one of the church quilters. She was a volunteer at the hospital, and she had served on the board of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair. She had been recognized for the many years she was on the election board of the Nickerson Township.

Margret was preceded by her husband Dale, son Paul, daughter-in-law Beverly, and brother Lawrence Livers.
The memorial service will be 2 PM Wednesday (August 19th) at the Bluffs Trinity Lutheran Church (northwest of Fremont) with Pastor Sean Tyler. There will be a private family committal. Memorials are suggested to the church and the Bluffs Cemetery Association. A memorial visitation with the family will be on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont.
