My name is Ron and Dougie Lee is my cousin. I was born just three after him and I am recalling many wonderful childhood memories with Dougie and his brother Val. My mother and their dad were siblings and we grew up just 2 miles apart, and our families were very close in those days and we had plenty of sleep overs and vacations together, and the first thing that comes to mind about this family is that they were so quick to smile and laugh out loud. I am so sorry for your loss and I regret not making a better effort to remain close with Dougie, Val, their mom, my Aunt Shirley (who I just spent an hour and a half on the phone) and for never having met Dougie's wife and children. May God bless you all with His peace in this difficult time.
